Coaching while walking – change your life actively
From my experience with clients, a walk-in fresh air is beneficial to disconnect yourself from the everyday life rhythm.
It is easier to open up and clear your mind when you move your body easily, your eyes can wander around, and the natural surroundings lead your thoughts into an open space.
As life has its dynamic also thinking is a dynamic process that needs an energetic movement. We are moving our body when we walk as much as we move our mind.
My clients feel more comfortable and relaxed during our walks. Especially when you feel overworked or overstressed, a walk can give you a release from these emotions. Being in motion during a coaching session also releases endorphins. It helps to organize thoughts with a positive mindset and gives you, through the physical workout, a good feeling in your body.
By walking, we stimulate our muscles, organs, senses, and our creative thinking.
Walking side-by-side, getting input and various impressions by the changing surroundings will lead us to a more flexible, powerful, and free conversation.
Where do we meet and walk?
It is up to you where we gonna set our meeting point and in which area you prefer to walk. I can give you some suggestions if you are unsure where to go, and we will figure out together what will be comfortable for you.
Before our session, we will set a time frame (prolonging on the spot can be possible) and meet at the agreed starting point.
During our walk, you choose the issue you want to talk about, or if things are not so clear for you, we will get to the topic by my questions.
We will talk about your process, what you achieved and what you still want to improve.
As we reach our destination point, we will define the strategies you can try out after our meeting.
What role does the weather play in our sessions?
For every walk and talk, I recommend that you wear comfortable and weather-appropriate clothes. Choose some shoes that are right for walking and, if necessary, a waterproof jacket.
With the right clothes, the weather should not be a problem at all.
If extreme weather conditions should be, we can also switch to in-house coaching or online coaching.
All my session are protected against Covid-19, as settings are protected with masks and social distancing indoors or outdoors.
